I know it’s probably not on purpose, (finding the perfect image is often impossible) but I couldn't help but notice the ring on Gary's finger while he said he met someone. He's probably going to have a surprise in the very near future of the alternate reaality.
Oops, I totally missed that detail. I was so focused on the overall scene :) But another possible explanation for the ring on his finger might be that Gary is still mostly inexperienced with women's jewelry. Necklaces and earrings are easy but all these rings? Maybe he just slipped it on that morning without thinking about which specific finger ;-)
