Perfection. Perfect ending. She realizes her mistake, admits it, but ultimately is a good mother, and as a bonus he got some insight and too. Hopefully they'll be closer together. I wonder if she will trust his gf with him given her ease of essentially cheating on him. But perfect. Thank you the ending I wish was more common. Absolutely, perfect.
ReplyDeleteI would like a follow up where maybe despite her efforts, the mother and son can't swap back and they would have to remain in each others bodies for ever and built a new life. The mother with his son's girlfriend living very happy and the son in his mother's body with a boyfriend maybe.
ReplyDeleteNo I like the happy ending. It honestly brightened my day. It's only fantasy but in this world the sweet ending was refreshing. I do agree that would have been a good scenario but again a bad ending for each other. This is what I wanted. Although I think the son should be more upset knowing she intentionally delayed the return and she doesn't get off scottfree and forever be apologizing to him. The machine broke can't go back is so tropey, and I like a positive end for once. At least for him, I definitely think he should be more angry and after returning she'll have to earn back his trust. It would be interesting if the experience made Alyssa realize she's actually a lesbian, hence the gf. Happy ending for him. The machine broke is sooo common and honestly, the expected conclusion in all similar captions. It worked. Also scientist equipment being unrepairable is not so common. On those lines: who are the next subjects. Broken machine unoriginal and tropey. Happy ending. I love it. Thanks for making it so.
DeleteNo. That's sooo tropey. All caps do that. There isn't a happy end for a mother that is stuck in a body and life she doesn't want but also stole. This was a great ending. Honestly, it brightened my day. I know it's just a random fantasy but good endings are enjoyable. This is the ending I wished for. The son should be angrier, but it's a good end. The machine broke end is sooo common it's honestly the expected outcome anytime I read a cap involving a machine. I love this nice one. Thank you for it.
DeleteGood finish. I think Stephen should be more upset and I feel Alyssa will be apologizing for a long time. The "the machine broke!" Is almost always the result. This is great. I wonder how they both feel about the gf, since she did not care about him and essentially cheated. Perhaps it lead to Alyssa discovering she likes chicks. She, ultimately ends up doing the right thing and feels guilt like she should. I liked this a lot l. I was more emotionally invested than I should be and thought I was until I breathed a sigh of relief they would return. I also felt a little happier after. It's nice. Thank you. Great job.
